Data Driven International Development

In today’s digitalized world, data is routinely generated, updated, and evaluated. In international development, data is becoming crucial to build upon any desired project intervention. Green growth, climate change, unemployment, trade, technology, and investments rely on accurate data to assess stakeholders and counterparts make decisions.  Moreover, data is a crucial factor in developing project concepts, conducting assessments, and feasibility studies to assess the impact and outcome through realistic KPIs and OKIs. Data then becomes a reliable source for a country’s specific local context as well as its regional and global factors particularly in achieving their SDGs.

At the current age of 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) and how digitalization is becoming a pillar in today’s global economy, DDID's strategic and operational approach corroborates the innovation needed for international development project interventions. The digitalization of data gathered, consolidated and incorporated in reporting mechanisms assists countries and donors with project interventions, strategy formulation, initiative roll-outs and more. DDID's efficient tools garner the impact needed to help them achieve the SDGs.
